Wow. All I have to say everypony is, wow. I've never had a problem with Amazon in my 10+ years of ordering from them... but today I recieved a second Vinyl Derpy figure instead of the POP! Vinyl figure. If I didn't own 3 of this figure already, perhaps I wouldn't be as annoyed.
To make it worse it seems she's been pushed back to December (Toywiz says November, Amazon says mid December)! (I've had this preordered since June...)
Anyway, anyone who ordered her from Amazon may want to keep an eye out. The good news is is as long as you have a printer, it seems you can drop her off with their pre-paid return label at any UPS store. I'll be going about that tomorrow and let you know how it turns out.

Oy! It seems like Amazon is having a string of weird problems recently. First they change the minimum limit of merchandise for free shipping to $35, to try to force people to join Prime. A friend of mine has been having a terrible time getting them to ship an order of hers quickly, even though usually they do it in a snap (and did so when her dad ordered something). And now your problem! I hope this isn't all a sign of Amazon starting to go down the drain.
ReplyDeleteIt's always really frustrating when a store sends the wrong merchandise (even moreso if it's been on pre-order for ages). Hopefully you'll be able to get the right figure!
I know! I actually am on a "shared" Prime account, $15 a year. You don't get any benefits except the 2-day Prime shipping, though. Usually takes 3 days, technically. My main problem is it ships soo late in the afternoon that my apartment sometimes closes as they come by so I can't even pick up anything until the next day.
