So, we finally get Derpy again, since her disappearance in Season 3. No speaking lines, thank goodness, but she's still incredibly adorable and actually semi-important to the episode. About halfway through "Rainbow Falls", she joins the Ponyville flyers for the qualifications into the Equestria Games.
I'll post full links of the episode once I find them (or you've probably already seen them over at Equestria Daily). If you have Comcast, then they should have it up On Demand in a few days to a week as well.
Oh. And Snowflake / Bulk Biceps. So much Snowflake!

I am probably the hugest Derpy fan out there and I still thought this episode was only average. I have to agree with others about the Snowflake/Roid Rage / Bulk Biceps thing (the flying). I think Fluttershy pretty much overcame her fears in previous episodes, so the audience wouldn't be a problem, but she isn't the best flyer in Equestria if Hurricane Fluttershy is anything to say about it. Twilight is still struggling with her flying (er... right?) as far as we know, so maybe she wouldn't have been the best choice. Still, any other background pegasus would've worked better, but it wouldn't have given us a plot set up.
I find that we hold this show to such hiiigh standards. At least it wasn't a complete copy/paste of the other 2 similar times RD had this problem. I like that she couldn't decide this time, rather than just making the wrong decision as others have mentioned. Also, Soarin was great. Probably even better than Bulk/Derpy. I also really liked hearing a lot of background ponies talking / discussing in the beginning. It really made the world come to life a little more. (Woo! Thunderlane~)
All in all, yeah, the episode could've been better, but at least they tried. And fanservice.
Hopefully there isn't too much more fanservice. Trust me, it kills a show.
