EquestriaDaily reports that the Funko Mystery Vinyl's are indeed on store shelves, however, sites still list them as shipping out in January as I previously noted, and worse, it's almost confirmed that an entire box will NOT net you a complete set. For the Derpy collector trying to get all 3, that's a slim chance in my opinion. I for one am pretty upset about this. I can either pay $12 or more each to get the ones I want or take my chances in the boxes (I also want Bon Bon and Lyra... my wife needs Pinkie for her collection). So I suppose it depends: how much do you wanna gamble with your cash? How long do you want to wait to get them?
Ugh. Just ugh.
Edit: I almost forgot. Yes, things can get worse. No identification like blind bags, no telling at all which one you'll get.

According to several comments on the Equestria Daily post's thread, the entire box will NOT net you all variants. In addition to the exclusive glow in the darks in the basic set, the colored ponies in the basic set (dubbed "show accurate") are Hot Topic exclusives.
Ugh. Just ugh.
